We underline our commitment to community improvement by making donations to different organisations and NGOs supporting education for underprivileged individuals, medical care and social programmes.

Recently, Kalpana Dilip Mehta Foundation had tied up with The Seven Hills Healthcare and Jivan Jyot Bank in setting up a Dialysis Centre offering free treatment to poor patients.

Trustees of Kalpana Dilip Mehta Foundation have contributed in setting up an OPD Centre at St Elizabeth Hospital, Mumbai and a ward at Conwest Jain Clinic Group of Hospital and also contributed to Mavjat Multispeciality Hospital in Palanpur, Gujarat India.

The Group has helped set up tribal schools and education centres in various villages in India through donations to The Bharatmata Mandir Trust.

As one of the early members of the Responsible Jewellery Council, corporate, social and environmental responsibly is a high priority.

D Navinchandra Group is committed to equal opportunities. We promote equality in the workforce, through employment of more than 200 female workers and a female head of HR. We have shaped an enabling environment for female workers by ensuring safety, providing transport and child daycare. We also provided a wide array of facilities to 11 impaired workers in order to enhance their work environment accessibility. Opportunities for stigmatised demographics are given, such as education and integration activities.

As a significant step closer to our target of carbon neutrality, D Navinchandra Group invested in solar panel plant lying a few kilometres from main manufacturing facility. It generates electricity equivalent to 75-80% of the factory’s total needs. We also built our rain water harvesting system collecting rainwater from an 8 acre plot of land and utilising it during dryer seasons to support local plant life and fulfil other water requirements.
