In this belief, VDG has built a high school in the rural town of Jalalpur, Gujarat to provide national standardized education and to facilitate a safe and empowered shift from adolescence to adulthood.

VDG is also actively involved in various educational institutions and trusts including Vanani Hostel, Sardar Patel Seva Trust, Bhavanath Educational Trust, and Kiran Hospital.

Within the business, VDG believes in upskilling its workers and being carbon friendly. Employees in VDG have been given the chance to learn new skills and promote themselves to higher positions. For example, we have a case study where a weight scaler learns cutting and becomes the manager of a manufacturing unit.

VDG periodically looks into reducing its carbon emissions by consulting with professionals and installing carbon-reducing technology. VDG currently uses solar panels and windmills to use renewable energy in its operations. VDG also trains its employees to follow low-carbon behaviour such as using reusable tools and turning off lights and electricity using technology when not in use.
