On the community front, noteworthy contributions are the Rs. 50 Million given to Venus Hospital in Surat, Rs. 12.5 Million donated to the Gujarat Government’s Girl Child Education Fund, Rs. 5 Million donated to a prominent Engineering College in Surat, Rs. 1.1 Million to the Gujarat Cancer Society and donations to trusts operating schools in tribal areas as well as other rural places.
